Frequently asked questions
Does Neural Repair fix any file?
No program fixes 100% of cases. Neural Repair recovers as much as possible and shows you first, for free, what comes back. If a file is completely zeroed or was encrypted by ransomware, there's no content to recover, and the app tells you so.
Is my original file at risk?
No. The app opens the original read-only, works on a copy, and checks at the end that the original didn't change by a single byte.
Are my files sent to a server?
No. All the repair work happens on your computer. The internet is only used to activate the license.
What does "lifetime per edition" mean?
You pay once and use the edition you bought forever, with its updates. When next year's edition comes out with more formats, you decide whether to upgrade at a reduced price.
Does it work on Mac?
For now, only Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit).
How is it different from Neural Rescue?
Rescue recovers files from a failing disk (hard drive, USB stick, memory card). Repair fixes files that are already on your computer but won't open.
